In addition to our HIV Clinic and HCV Treatment Clinic, Elevate NWO offers population specific clinics to address needs in many underserved communities.
WOMEN’S HEALTH CLINIC
The Women’s Sexual Health Clinic offers a range of free, confidential sexual health services for women. Services focus on female health and include counselling and referrals, as well as physical exams and care. The clinic offers check-ups, pap smears, testing and treatment for STIs, birth control, HIV/AIDS and hepatitis C services and a wide array of pregnancy support services.
The clinic also provides a positive social space for women to gather, relax and share with each other. This program works in partnership with the Thunder Bay District Health Unit, PACE, SWAN, OAHAS, Alpha Court and the Elizabeth Fry Society of Northwestern Ontario.
